First Jaywalker Sock

Finished the first Jaywalker sock. I'm very pleased with how it turned out, especially since this is the first sock I've knit in years. What I'm not so cray about is the toe and the work right above the ankle. I adjusted the pattern slightly in order to allow a quicker decrease on the right side of the sock and a slower one on the left as my big toe is freakishly larger than my other toes. The final Kitchener cast-off bulges some, so I may end up ripping out the toe and trying it again.

Can't redo the ankle without redoing practically the entire sock, but have learned another place to measure when working on socks..

I do love the pattern with this variegated yarn and would definitely work on it again, with some slight adjustments. I do wish thought that I were done with this project but there's still one sock to go! I think next time I'll try one of those knit-two-socks-in-one schemes..
